Job Type 1: Research Associate

·        No. of Post: 02

· Essential Qualifications: Post Graduate in Genetics & Plant Breeding/ Biotechnology/ Plant Physiology/ Life Sciences/ Environmental Science with 1st Division or 60% marks or equivalent and two  years of  research experience.  Published research papers and  knolwedge of computers will be desirable. Or Ph.D. in Genetics & Plant Breeding/ Biotechnology/ Plant Physiology/ Life Sciences/ Environmental Science.

·        ICAR Network Project “National Initiative for Climate Resilient Agriculture (NICRA)”

Job Type 2: 

·        No. of Post: 01

·  Essential Qualifications: Post Graduate in Vegetable Science/ Horticulture specialization in Vegetable Science/Plant Breeding.

·        Desirable: Working experience on vegetable breeding and knowledge of computers.

·    Project “Validation of DUS testing guidelines for cucurbits i.e., watermelon and muskmelon”

Note:

1. The above posts are purely temporary/contractual, time bound and co-terminus with the project/scheme or earlier depending on performance.
2. There may be a written test (consisting of basic questions relating to discipline, General Knowledge, etc.) followed by Personal Interview, hence the candidates are requested to come prepared alongwith pen, pad etc.
3. The candidates are advised to bring their Application Biodata giving details of Educational Qualification and one recent photograph affixed thereon.  They should also bring original copies of educational and other certificates during the Interview.
4. The Competent Authority reserves the right to increase/decrease the number of posts and also to cancel the recruitment process for any/all the posts mentioned above.
5. No TA/DA etc. will be paid for attending the interview.
