- Essential Qualifications: Matriculate with at least one year’s certificate in Agriculture from a recognized Institute.
- Desirable: Experience in the relevant field.
General instructions for candidates:
· The minimum and maximum age limit is 18-30 Years.
· Relaxation in age limit for SC/ST/OBC/ SC/ST/OBC/ any other category will be allowed as per the extant rules of the Govt. of India.
· No age limit for I.C.A.R. employees. For Research Associates / Senior Research Fellows who have been engaged on contractual basis in different ICAR Institutes as on date [cut off date for receipt of duly filled application] are eligible for relaxation in the upper age limit to the extent of their spell, during which they were actually engaged as RAs / SRFs in different projects of ICAR Institutes [maximum of 16 years 03 months]. They should have been engaged continuously in different projects of ICAR Institutes without inordinate spell of breaks. An employment certificate indicating the names of the projects and the exact period he / she worked in each project, may be obtained from the Competent Authority and enclosed along with the application. The applications without Employment Certificate will not be entertained. The age relaxation is applicable for the posts of Technician T.3 under Direct Recruitment for RAs / SRFs only. This dispension is only for relaxing the maximum age limit and does not imply any other relaxation whatsoever regarding essential qualifications and experience etc.
· Last date for receipt of applications is 30 days 30 days from the date of publication. Application received after due date will not be entertained.
· The prescribed qualifications are minimum and an enhanced qualification does not entitle candidates to be called for interview. Only short listed candidates will be called for interview.
· Crucial date for determining the age limit of candidates will be the closing date of receipt of applications.
· Community Certificate for OBC may be obtained from the competent authorities in the standard format as prescribed by Govt. of India, O.M. No. 36012/22/93-Estt.[SCT], dated 08th September, 1993 and guidelines contained in the Govt. of India and Department of Per. & Training, O.M. No. 36033/3/2004-Estt.[Res.] dated 14th October, 2008.
· The post is non-government under the Indian Council of Agricultural Research which will be governed by the New Pension Scheme introduced by the Govt. of India with effect from 01.01.2004 01.01.2004 mutatis--mutandis -- and as amended from time-to-time. The posts are purely temporary but likely to continue.
· The place of posting will be at CRIDA, Hyderabad. However, appointee will be liable to serve in any Institute of ICAR anywhere in India.
· The candidates who are in service in the Central/State Govt./ Undertaking / Autonomous bodies etc. should apply through ‘proper channel’ ‘proper channel’.
· No TA/ DA is admissible for attending the interview. However, SC / ST candidates will be paid TA as per Govt. of India’s Rules.
· Applications received after the due date for any reason including postal delays will not be entertained.
· Applications duly completed in all respects may be sent to the Director, Central Research Institute for Dryland Agriculture, Santoshnagar Colony, Saidabad Post, Hyderabad – 500 059 along with an application fee [non-refundable] of Rs.100/-- [Rupees One hundred only] in the shape of crossed -- Demand Draft drawn in favour of ‘ICAR Unit A/c. – CRIDA’ payable at State Bank of India, Edi Bazar Branch [Code No.8026], Hyderabad. Candidates belonging to SC/ST/all Female candidates are exempted from payment of application fee.
· The envelope containing application must be compulsorily superscribed as “ Application for the post of _____________”. Any candidate who may be applying for more than one post should submit separate application for each post along with the prescribed application fee. Attested copies of Caste Certificate, Marks-sheets and Experience Certificate etc. should be attached along with each application.
· Director, CRIDA, Hyderabad reserves the right to short list the candidates for test / interview after the screening of applications. No correspondence will be entertained from the candidates regarding selection / test / interview / appointment.
