Essential Qualification:

First class M.Sc. in any of the following subject areas: Biochemistry Biotechnology, Microbiology, Biophysics, Biosciences, Chemistry, Nanotechnology or First class B.E./B.Tech or equivalent in Biotechnology/Bio-chemical Engineering with NET/GATE (with valid score card).

Desirable Qualification:

Practical experience in any one of the above mentioned subject areas.

Emoluments:  Consolidated Fellowship of Rs. 16,000/- per month for a maximum period of 4 years or period of project, whichever is earlier, not extendable beyond this period.

Procedure: Applications should be submitted on plain paper mentioning advertisement number, full name, date of birth, age as on 22nd April, 2013, sex, category (SC / ST / OBC / PH / FC), father's name, full mailing address along with e-mail id and contact phone number, academic qualifications (10 + 2 onwards), detailing examinations passed, board/university, year of passing, % marks, subject etc.,. If any relative is employed in CFTRI and / or CSIR, details must be given in application (i.e., name, designation & place of work). Any other relevant information considered important for the merit/qualification may also be given. A passport size photograph of the applicant should be pasted on the top right corner of the application. Attested copies of all relevant certificates and testimonials should also be included. Applications incomplete in any of the above respects will be rejected. Applications without any of the relevant documents mentioned above are also liable to be rejected. Canvassing in any form and/or bringing in any influence, political or otherwise will be treated as a disqualification for post applied for.
