Project Title: NFBSFARA funded project ‘Stock characterization, captive breeding, seed production and culture of hilsa(Tenualosailisha)’.

Emoluments:  With Masters degree: Rs. 23000/- + HRA; With Ph.D degree: Rs. 24000/- +HRA

Eligibility:

Essential: Ph.D. in Fisheries Resource Management; Aquaculture, Fish breeding.

or

MFSc. in Fisheries Resource Management/ Aquaculture or MSc. Zoology with Specialization in Fish and Fisheries Science; passed in first division or 60% marks or equivalent overall grade; at least two years of research experience in the relevant field as evident from fellowships, associateships, publications, work experience.

Desirable: Published research papers in the relevant field; experience in fisheries data collection; aquaculture, fish farm management, fish biology and breeding. Sound knowledge on using computers and statistical software.

Date of walk-in-interview: 30.05.2013 at 10.30 hrs.
