Position 1: Junior Research Fellowship (2)
Essential Qualification: M.Sc. in life Sciences/ Biotechnology /Botany/Mol. Biology/Immunology/Biochemistry/Microbiology/Biology/Plant Pathology/ Food Science and Technology/Bioinformatics/Chemistry/Organic/ Pharmaceutical Chemistry with 55% marks and CSIR-UGC-NETQualified.
Stipend: Rs.16, 000/- P.M. Consolidated plus HRA as admissible under Council rules:
Age limit: 28 Years as on 08.09.2012 (5 years for SC/ST,3 years for OBC and widows, divorced women and women judicially separated from their husbands and who are not remarried are allowed age concession up to the age of 35 years,(Up to 40 years for members of SC/STs).-No other women entitled for such relaxation.)
Position 2: Project Assistant Level-l
Essential Qualification: 1s Class B.Sc./B.Sc.(Agri.) /Forestry /Horticulture /Medical/ Non-Medical.
Stipend: Rs.8,000/- P.M. (consolidated) depending upon funds provisions.

Position 3: Project Fellow
Essential Qualification: M.Sc./M.Tech. in Agriculture/Biotechnology /Immunology/ Molecular Biology /Genetics /Microbiology / Plant Pathology /Biochemistry /Bioinformatics/ Computer Science /Life Sciences/ Entomology/ Zoology/ Agrochemical and Pest Management/ Statistics/ Food Science & Technology /Post Harvest Technology/ Fermentation Technology/ Food Chemistry /Food Engineering/Biochemical Engineering/Botany/Forestry/Ecology/ Environmental Sciences / Remote Sensing/GIS/ Chemistry/ Organic Chemistry/ Pharmaceutical Chemistry/ Industrial Chemistry or B.E./B.Tech.(Biotechnology/Food Engg./Chemical Engg./ Production Engg.) or equivalent with 55% marks.
Stipend: Rs.12,000/- P.M. (consolidated) depending upon funds provisions.

Procedure:
Walk-in-Interview is scheduled to be held on Saturday, the 8th September, 2012 at 9:00 A.M. at this Institute for preparation of select panel of candidates for 24 tentative positions at different levels of viz. Junior Research Fellow (Project), Project Fellow, and Project Assistants Level-I under the various in-House, Networked and Sponsored Projects on purely temporary basis for the duration of the project(s) which will be co-terminus with the duration of the projects.
Eligible candidates may appear for "Walk-in-Interview" on the date, time and place mentioned above along with an application on prescribed format which is available on the CSIR-IHBT, website along with attested photocopies of testimonials of their age, educational qualifications, experience, reserved category etc. at the time of interview. The positions are purely temporary and coterminous with the duration of the Projects. There will be no right implicit or explicit for regular position or any post in CSIR-IHBT, whatsoever. Candidates must also bring with them original certificates of testimonials at the time of the appearing for interview failing which he/she will not be allowed to appear for interview. No TA will be paid for attending the interview.
